The first expensive perfume I ever bought and one of my favourites in my collection is from Vera Wang (it’s Lovestruck, which I featured here) so I was pretty excited by a new fragrance release from the brand, Vera Wang Forever Vera*.
Vera Wang Forever Vera is an Eau de Parfum, and it actually lasts all day on me although it does stay close to the skin. You wouldn’t be able to smell it on me unless you were quite close, but for my work environment that’s perfect. In terms of the scent itself, Vera Wang Forever Vera starts with slightly fruity notes including white peach, gardenia and coconut water. As it develops, it becomes more of a fresh floral with a heart of iris, lilac and rum, layered on a slightly musky and powdery base. Vera Wang Forever Vera is a slightly more mature scent, but I really like it as there’s something quite classic and subtle about it.
The packaging of Vera Wang Forever Vera is gorgeous, a pale pink perfume contained inside a hammered glass bottle with silver accents and rope detailing. It’s not the most over-the-top of the Vera Wang perfume bottles, but it is again, classic, subtle, and lovely–that’s pretty much how I’d describe Vera Wang Forever Vera fragrance, which is a combination I don’t mind at all!
