I’ve been a fan of Tweezerman for a long time. In fact, theirs have been the only tweezers I’ve used on my brows for over a decade, so it was an easy choice to review something I already love and test out something new from the brand, which is exactly what I did with the Tweezerman Purple Reign Slant Tweezer* and Tweezerman Browmousse*.
Tweezerman Purple Reign Slant Tweezer are a gorgeous royal purple shade, which go nicely with my collection (both a purple speckled– which you can see in my guest post on my favourite beauty tools— and a black pair). I can tell you from experience that these are very sharp and precise, and they stay sharp for a long time. I have such an easy time plucking my hair and getting my brows exactly how I want them! I was frustrated for quite awhile before I finally spurged on Tweezerman, and it is definitely worth the money! For something you do very often (at least if you have dark hair like me) it’s worth it for it not to be stressful, and that’s exactly what the Tweezerman Purple Reign Slant Tweezer. One thing I was reminded of using this pair is that they are new they are so sharp they can break of the hair midway so you do have to make sure to grab it by the root.
I’d never tried out the Tweezerman Browmousse but I definitely appreciate a brow gel as a part of my routine and usually apply some even if I’m not doing any other makeup. This is a fantastic light weight gel with a spoolie applicator that is easy to use. I don’t find it leaves my brows crunchy (a common issue) nor does it wear away partway through the day (another common issue). It has a good hold and good lasting power. I also kinda like that it’s in an opaque tube, as a lot of brow gels come in clear tubes and they do get kinda gross, especially if you add any coloured products to your brows before applying.
The Tweezerman Purple Reign Slant Tweezer and Browmousse make a very handy duo of products and if you are looking to tame your brows I definitely recommend trying them out! Despite having a huge love of their tweezers, I didn’t realize Tweezerman made quite a few brow products, such as scissors, and I’d definitely be interested in trying more products from the brand in the future.
Are you hooked on Tweezerman tweezers like I am? If not, what brand do you use?
