The sad day in which I have my final post featuring products from the stunning tarte Rainforest of the Sea Collection has come. Unless I give in and purchase that eyeshadow palette… However, for now I’m sharing three of the gorgeous double-ended tarte Rainforest of the Sea Brushes.
I know a lot of people aren’t a huge fan of double-ended brushes because they are a bit more difficult to store, but I’ve been putting these tarte Rainforest of the Sea Brushes in a jar with the rest of my brushes for weeks with no issues, just don’t jam them in too hard maybe? They are also perfect for travel and take up way less space. I really appreciate how both ends are targeted to do different things for the same kind of application, like foundation or highlighter, which makes it really convenient. Finally, the brushes are all just really gorgeous in that gold and purple metallic ombre.
The tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Color Correcting Brush is a super soft brush with an angled, fluffy end and a more dense, tapered tip on the other end. The idea is to use the pointed end to cover areas and the fluffy end to blend out. I don’t do a lot of colour-correcting at this point, but I actually also really like this brush for any precision work like highlighter on my cupid’s bow.
The tarte Rainforest of the Sea Highlighter Brush is also very soft and has duo-fibre brushes on both ends for a natural application. One end is a larger, fluffy angled brush and the other end has a rounded, more dense brush. I definitely use the larger end for blush and bronzer, but you could use it for a light all over glow as well. The more precise end is great for the under eye area or applying highlighter along the cheekbones.
The tarte Rainforest of the Sea The Airbrusher Double-Ended Concealer Brush is…also super soft, you guessed it. Both ends are rounded but one end is much fluffy than the other. The denser end is great for applying product to blemishes you want hidden, while the fluffier end is great for blending out.
These tarte Rainforest of the Sea Brushes are my first experience with tarte’s beauty tools but now I know they are just as lovely as their makeup. While these brushes may seem specialized at first, I definitely use them for all kinds of things not listed in the name (and they haven’t complained yet!) They are sturdy, beautiful, and soft. If you are looking for a new travel-friendly brush I definitely recommend checking these out.
Have you tried any brushes from tarte before? How do you feel about double-ended brushes?
