I am a big Soap & Glory fan and I have wanted one of their lip crayons for ages. So much, in fact, that when I was in London over New Years I bought one since they weren’t available in Canada. However, for a limited time, that has changed and right now you can get Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayons in three different shades, Fuchsiaristic*, Plum Jam* and Nudist*.
The packaging of the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayons is sleek and simple, black with the pink retro font S&G is so well known for, along with a band of colour at the end indicating the shade. The crayons are twist-up, which is the only way any brand should make lip crayons, and because they are fairly sheer they are easy to reapply on the go and without a mirror. They all have a delicious vanilla scent but no flavour.
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayon in Plum Jam is the shade I had already bought in the UK, and it’s a great way to get a plummy lip without doing something too vampy or scary. It is the most pigmented of the three and settles slightly into fine lines, however I still really like it although I maybe don’t need two.
The Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayons apply like a balm– sheer, but slightly buildable, comfortable to wear and moisturizing. As a result, they also have the lasting power of a balm (about two hours on me) but, like I said, they are easy to reapply. They are very shiny and I definitely feel like that helps make my lips look a little larger. I think Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Crayons in Fuchsiaristic, Plum Jam and Nudist are all very flattering and my obsession with lip crayons is definitely not over yet.
