I figured if there was ever a good day to share a Sephora Haul, it’s Boxing Day, and since I’m pre-writing this post because I will be in PERU, I’m actually sharing a haul I made about a month ago when there were all kinds of cute wonderful sets on Sephora for $12 (Canadian, $10 US) as a result of another “spending holiday”, Black Friday.
You may notice a duplicated in this Sephora Haul, and that’s because I couldn’t resist grabbing two Nest Rollerball Trios, which had a value of over $60 and were an amazing way to try out the brand. I may either gift the second set or greedily keep it, I haven’t quite decided yet. They have a lovely green, floral scent to them and the tiny rollerballs are perfect for your purse.
One thing I’m definitely keeping is the Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Cleansing Duo, which comes with two products I’ve reviewed previously as a part of the Ole Henriksen Unwrap Your Radiance Collection (here) and which I really loved so a chance to get more of them both with a savings was something I couldn’t turn down.
I actually don’t use eyeshadow primer but I always feel like I should and the Too Faced Workday To Weekend Play Duo came with the regular and the champagne shade so I thought it was a good time to try. That said, I still haven’t used it…
It’s probably pretty obvious from this Sephora Haul but I have a lip-problem. As in, I only have one set of lips but I have many sets of lip products. I actually don’t use a ton of lip gloss, but I love the brand bite and at $4 a piece (for a total of $12) the Bite Beauty Lush Lip Trio was a great value and shades I would actually use so I thought I’d try it out, although I’m waiting till I finish a few more products first.
At the same minute I also added in the Kat Von D Lip Love Set which comes with two adorable minis including the Lolita studded lipstick I was really interested in.
In addition to Nest, probably the set I was most excited about in this Sephora Haul, as well as the best value, was the Tarte Magical Moments Deluxe Best Sellers Essentials Set, which comes with a mini lip gloss, mascara, and blush. For $12?! Who can say no. Plus those adorable Tarte blushes (I have two now) are just so great.
Finally, it wouldn’t be a Sephora Haul without a few samples, but this order came with something extra special, my VIB intro package which indicates I have spent way too much money at Sephora this year. Umm, a couple things were gifts? But it also gave me the chance to save 10% off this order, which was quite nice!
Well, that’s it, my last Sephora Haul of 2014 (except for the one I have photos of I never posted…) I have had a lot of fun shopping at Sephora this year, but I have a lot of products to focus on using up in 2015 so that will be my main goal and hopefully I won’t be too tempted by pretties next year!
Did you grab anything in the Black Friday sale? Luckily I shouldn’t have internet access so I won’t be too regretful of missing out on Boxing Day…
