Yes, I did my damage during the Sephora Friends and Family 20% Off Sale (seen here) but I couldn’t stop myself when the VIB sale came along and offered another 20% off. So I’m back with another Sephora Haul filled with holiday products, as well as one skincare product I just had to try.
There are a few holiday sets available from Sephora that I had been lusting over (patiently?) for awhile and one of them was definitely the Josie Maran Winter Dreams Argan Color Collection which sells for $43 Canadian and includes a full size of the Coconut Watercolor Eyeshadow in Rio de Rose Gold ($23 on its own) as well as deluxe sizes of four other products. I really wanted the gorgeous eyeshadow, so I figured it was worth it, especially with the 20% off, and so far that’s the only product I’ve used but it definitely was.
There were also quite a few shades of deluxe-sized Bite lip products, but after seeing them all swatched I knew the one I needed was the Bite Beauty Mix N’ Mingle Lip Minis in Glacé, a really pretty mauve pink. I haven’t actually used it yet, but I am definitely excited to.
My Sephora Haul also includes a couple skincare products. I have quite a bit of skincare, so I couldn’t justify much, but one place my collection is lacking is face masks, and I had heard rave reviews of two of the three masks in the Origins Mini Mask Marvels set, so I knew it was a great way to try it out. It’s not a huge savings over buying them separately, but the sizes are smaller so it’s great for trying all three instead of one large one. I’m especially excited for the charcoal mask which is supposed to be magic for bad skin days.
Another skincare product that had been heavily recommended by two sources I trust, Meg and Jodi, are the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. It’s sold in two sizes, but they both come out to almost the same per-pad basis, so I figured a 20% off sale was a good time to try. I’ve been using these quite a few times and I do think my skin looks brighter and nice in the morning, although it’s not a total transformation overnight. I will probably finish them up before I decide about if I’ll repurchase.
As with any good Sephora Haul, there are a few samples. Unfortunately using the 20% off code meant no deluxe samples, but I still got to pick three online when ordering, and I went with Radical Skincare Eye Revive Crème (cause you can always use a fancy eye cream sample), Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer (cause I love the brand) and Pharrell Williams GIRL Travel Spray (cause I was legitimately interested in smelling this scent!)
Well, that’s it for this Sephora Haul! I wish I could say it was my last one of the year but…Black Friday happened. So I’ll be back shortly with more makeup goodies I purchased. Hold the judgment until 2015 please!
