Although makeup itself is a lot of fun, sometimes it needs a few friends to be at its best. So today I’m sharing my thoughts on a few of the Sephora Collection Spring 2015 Beauty Tools* which are a fantastic way to compliment your skincare and makeup routine! Plus, they are awfully colourful.
Although this orange Sephora Collection The Vacationer isn’t currently for sale, you can still pick it up in a classic black. It has lots of room and special, labelled compartments along with a sturdy zipper. The inside is easy to wipe clean, but my favourite part is how easy it is to store your brushes. “Catch all” makeup bags are great for daily use, but on a longer vacation, it’s nice to be able to bring your brushes, your skincare, and your makeup all in one bag. That’s exactly what the aptly named The Vacationer is perfect for!
Sephora Collection Look Color In The Eye Brush Capsule is a really pretty rose gold tube that stores five rainbow brushes for all eye makeup needs. The brushes also have rose gold ferrules, and remind me a little of paint brushes. These aren’t the softest brushes I’ve tried from Sephora, but it is a great portable package for travel as well.
If you need a few basics for the gym, then the Sephora Collection So Fit and So Fly Gym Kit is a fun option. It comes with a small (and motivational!) makeup bag, a showercap, and a wide-toothed comb. I’ve tried the Sephora Ribbon Hair Ties before (reviewed here) and I am a big fan so it was great to add a few more to my collection. Their headbands are also excellent and do a great job keeping my hair in place. Overall a fun little kit!
Finally, there’s the Sephora Collection Clean Machine Konjac Sponge Duo Polish Me. The last time I used a similar product was the EcoTools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge (review here), because in general I just wash my face using my hands. You can use these sponges either with cleanser or just with water, and they are gentle enough to use daily and on your whole face. However, it also helps provide a very soft exfoliation that is biodegradable and a lot cheaper than a Clarisonic. I like these, I’m just not very good at consistently using them.
In addition to the Sephora Collection Spring 2015 Beauty Tools shared here there’s also the Sephora Collection Cleaning Me Softly Facial Cleansing Brush which I already reviewed. Anything you’ve added to your shopping list?
