Following up on the Sephora Collection Perfect Pink Brush Set* is a smaller brush collection from the brand that I actually prefer, the Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap*. The wrap is teal on the inside and has a slot for each brush, as well as a plastic flap that can cover the brushes to prevent them from getting makeup everywhere once they are dirty.
The Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap contains five travel-sized brushes that are all your face essentials in a magnetic wrap carrying case with an exotic leopard-print and teal theme. Also, gold. I almost feel like this set could be cheap or tacky, but it manages to stop from reaching that place for me. Also, the brushes have a weight to them, which I’ve realized is something I really appreciate!
There are five brushes in the Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap and I’ll start from left to right in the above photo–or largest to smallest. First, there’s a Powder Brush, which is incredibly soft and lovely on the skin and still manages to pick up product. You could use it all over the face, but I have a bigger brush I prefer for that, and I actually tend to use this one to apply blush.
Similar in size and density is the Angled Brush, and I didn’t have issues with any of these brushes shedding which was also very nice. This can be used for blush as well, or for applying a highlight to the tops of the cheeks.
There are three eye brushes in the Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap, starting with a Crease Brush which is dense enough to pick up shadow and perfect for fitting into the crease of my eye. I also really like the Shadow Brush which has a standard shape but is very nice and soft. It’s not great for packing on a ton of shadow, but it does the job and can be helpful for blending out a bit too since with a travel kit this small there is no blending brush.
Finally, there’s an Angled Liner Brush which I honestly don’t get much use out of, however I will say this one is both soft and firm, as well as small enough that I can use it carefully on my eyebrows if I was traveling with just these five brushes.
I actually used the brushes in the Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap to apply my makeup for the FOTD featured in my Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette review, so if you’re interested in seeing what the final results look like using these brushes, definitely check out that review. Sometimes it is hard to know if I’m really doing a good job explaining what brushes are like, when the best way to know is to use them, but having tested out the Sephora Collection Creatures of Habit Brush Wrap this is definitely a set I enjoy and a perfect one for me to take traveling!
