Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette + FOTD

Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette 3Earlier this week I shared my thoughts on the Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation* but what I didn’t share is what my final makeup looked like, because yes, I applied things after the foundation. The rest of what I applied is entirely from the Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette*, a palette with 8 cheek products that I decided to use on my entire face (and I love how it turned out!). Here’s my final FOTD:
Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face PaletteSephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette was designed to celebrate cancer awareness, and a portion of the sales go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It has a mosaic, cardboard packaging and a large mirror inside. It contains 3 small cream cheek products, 3 small powder cheek products in solid shades (one is a highlighter), and 2 large ombre cheek shades (a bronzer and a blush).

Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face PaletteThe Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette comes with a great variety of shades, and there’s not one I can’t see myself getting some use out of. I don’t find the cream shades particularly long wearing but there are powder products already there to top them with and help them last longer. In my FOTD, I actually used the bottom cream shade on my lips–not recommended, but it sorta worked and I wanted to use only this palette and see what I could do! Of course the ombre products are gorgeous, I especially love the blush and that’s what I’m wearing on my cheeks in the FOTD. It’s just so pretty and flattering!

Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette CollageI do find that the powder shades in the Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette while being very soft and pigmented can kick up quite a bit of powder with my brush. It’s unfortunate that there are cream and powder products packaged together, but I honestly haven’t had any issues with that yet (I do keep the plastic sheet the palette came with inside it when storing). Depending on the size of your brush, the pan size for the two smaller blushes may be a bit annoying, I don’t mind for the cream because I apply using my fingers.

1-Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face PaletteOn my eyes, I used the highlight shade all over, and blended it into the small peachy shade, adding a touch of the bright pink. I think the highlight powder shade is gorgeous and I really love it on my eyes as well! I added a touch of the bronzer as a very light touch of contour, a coat of mascara, and I was all done.

And… one final look at my FOTD. I do love the Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette!

Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette 2Overall, the Sephora The Beauty of Giving Back Face Palette has a lot of cheek products, but they are all ones I enjoyed using. I don’t love all the Sephora brand makeup, but for me this palette was a definite hit and even though it’s intended for your cheeks, that won’t stop me from using it elsewhere 🙂

What do you think of this palette?
