It’s the last of the Sally Hansen Spring 2015 polishes! First I shared a couple shades from the Complete Salon Manicure line, then the new Salon Effects launches, then a few more from the Insta-Dri collection, and now my final post featuring three gorgeous cream shades from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine Spring 2015 Collection*.
Sally Hansen Water Lily is described as a vibrant, vivid, and vivacious hot pink. I find it’s a bit more of a magenta orchid but it is definitely bright, cheerful and with a fantastic formula. All three shades I tried from the Sally Hansen Triple Shine Spring 2015 polishes had impressive opacity, although this one was the best because you could get away with one coat. However, for swatches (especially in bright light) I went with two just to make sure it was evenly applied.
Sally Hansen Seas The Day is described as a cool, creamy teal with a chill Nordic vibe. I’m just always drawn to these teal shades–though this is a bit dark for DAVIDsTEA. The formula and opacity was lovely with two coats, but do use a base coat to prevent staining. These Sally Hansen Triple Shine Spring 2015 polishes are all very shiny, although a top coat will always help prolong wear. You can actually easily remove the bottle caps of Triple Shine polishes to make it easier to hold and paint your nails (similar to Chanel or Butter London).
The final shade, Sally Hansen Deep End is described as a intense, mysterious, inky eggplant. I just love that description because it’s so accurate. This is definitely an inky dark purple, but it doesn’t get so close to black you can’t tell its purple, which is a pet peeve of mine with really dark shades. I used two coats, and for me this is just the perfect dark purple.
If you are looking gorgeous cream polishes with an affordable price tag and fantastic formula, I would definitely check out these Sally Hansen Triple Shine Spring 2015 shades. The grey-blue Wet Suit and the (what else?) purple Watts New colours also have my attention, but I can never resist a teal, so I think Sally Hansen Seas The Day is my favourite out of these three! What’s yours?
