Another bright summery cheerful polish collection, this time from Sally Hansen in the Triple Shine line which I’ve actually never tried before. The Sally Hansen Tahiti Sunset collection contains six polishes, an orange, a pink, and a green, each with a matching glittery top coat. I have the pink pair to share with you today, which is Sally Hansen Tahiti Sunset Pink Coconut* and Changing Tides*.
Sally Hansen Tahiti Sunset Pink Coconut is bright pink which was fairly sheer but had a smooth formula that was opaque and incredibly shiny with three coats. I definitely found this shade lived up to the “triple shine” claim. However, I find the brushes on these polishes to be a bit wide for me. The caps are bulky but luckily they remove to something easier to hold very easily. Sally Hansen Pink Coconut is not the most unique shade in my collection, but it’s bright and shiny and great for summer.
I topped Pink Coconut with two coats of Sally Hansen Tahiti Sunset Changing Tides, a teal and pink glitter that is fully loaded. I could have gotten away with one coat but I went for two for extra glitter and I love the way these two polishes pair together. Sally Hansen Changing Tides would also look great over black, and you could maybe layer to opacity on its own but it would take quite a few coats. The formula was really good and I am definitely interested in trying more glitters from the line.
Sally Hansen Tahiti Sunset Pink Coconut and Changing Tides are two bright, cheerful shades for summer, and although I think the gorgeous teals (Seasational and Archipela-glow) are the standouts in this collection, if you’re looking for a nice pink or matching glitter topper these are some good options.
Have you tried any Sally Hansen Triple Shine polishes before?
