Well, it’s officially fall. As much as that happens to mean it’s my favourite season, a little bit of me is sad because you know what comes next (at least here in Canada)… winter. In the meantime, it’s time to pull out your dark lipsticks and army green polishes to celebrate the season. If you don’t have an army green polish, definitely consider grabbing Sally Hansen Ever Green*, part of the Fall 2014 Complete Salon Manicure line.
Sally Hansen Ever Green is a murky, dark army green with a flawless formula and great, rich pigmentation. You could possibly get away with one thick coat, but I went with two and that gave me great even coverage a glossy finish. One of the goals of the Complete Salon Manicure line is that you don’t need a top coat, and although I always stick one on anyway, you can tell from these photos you do get a decent amount of shine even without.
I don’t know exactly what it is about Sally Hansen Ever Green, but I honestly love this polish. It’s just the perfect shade of fall green for me, and I think it would look gorgeous with a gold accent nail (or some glitter on top–as you’ll see in tomorrow’s post). There are six other shades in the fall collection and they definitely have my attention now, especially the two purples Fi Fi Fo Plum and Grape Gatsby.
