Sally Hansen Cur-Tan Call and Tulle Kit

Celebrating spring, there are 6 new pastel shades to the Sally Hansen Complete Salon line. These are polishes that promise to be everything you need in a manicure, including a base and top coat, all in one bottle. I have two shades from the Pastel on Point collection to share, Sally Hansen Cur-Tan Call* and Sally Hansen Tulle Kit*.

Sally Hansen Cur-tan Call 3 Sally Hansen Cur-tan Call 2 Sally Hansen Cur-tan CallSally Hansen Cur-Tan Call is unfortunately one of those streaky, sheer, light neutral shades that remind me of a ballerina but just never seem to have a good result. I think this is really pretty in the bottle, but with two coats I’m just not a big fan of how it looks. That said, the formula did feel nice and on my shorter pinkie nail it actually looks alright, but this isn’t one I can see myself reaching for.

I layered on coat over Cur-Tan Call, and the end result is subtle but really pretty in the sunlight with iridescent blue shimmer. I don’t think this would work on its own, but I can imagine it looking really nice over a lot of different colours, especially a navy or black. I got great coverage in one coat and removal wasn’t too bad either.

Overall, I would definitely recommend grabbing Sally Hansen Tulle Kit from this collection, the polish is really pretty! There’s also a really pretty green called Pique Side I’m lusting over. What do you think of these polishes?
