To go with yesterday’s gorgeous blue-tone red, here’s a bright pinkish one that is also classic and chic, Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Roulette Rush*.
There does appear to be some kind of hidden blue shimmer in the bottle, but I couldn’t capture it on the nails and Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Roulette Rush does seem like a straightforward, but lovely, cream to me (maybe I would have caught it outside). It has nice even coverage with just one coat, although there’s still quite a lot of VNL, it looks bright and juicy, so I ended up going with two coats. There’s still a touch of visible nail line, but it’s not very noticeable because of how vibrant the shade is. I found that it dried pretty quickly too.
I thought I would find the reds boring, but there’s something really gorgeous and chic about the two in the new Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy collection. While Queen of Hearts is a perfect fall and winter shade, Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Roulette Rush is definitely the kind of red I want to be wearing during the summertime. Something about this shade just makes me think of fresh watermelon and strawberries… yum!
