It’s time for another season Quo Collection! I love these because the products always come in some fantastic Limited Edition packaging and they are always very cohesive, and wearable. While nothing can really come close to my obsession with the lip oil from the Summer 2016 Collection (check that out here) I do have a few great pieces from the Quo Fall 2016 Collection to share with you today.
I’ll start off with the product that’s a bit of a frequent visitor to Quo Collections, and that’s the Quo Raise Your Brows Palette. I first swatched this palette in the Fall 2014 Collection, and although it’s great that Quo continues to bring it out–it’s a fantastic product and should not be LE–it’s way too light for my brows.
To me, Quo eye shadow palettes are often hit or miss, and the Quo Eye Shadow Palette in Plum Perfect? Hits it out of the park. This mix of finishes and shades has a beautiful purple lean to it as well as one unique dusty red shade. The pigmentation is great, and although there is probably one too many pale shades, I find the palette really versatile to use. I also love the exterior of all the Quo Fall 2016 products, it’s actually a leaf design in dark purple. Very Fall!
I used the shades from the Plum Perfect palette to create the above purple and grey look. The shadows are a little more sheer on the lid since they are quite blendable, but there’s still plenty of pigment and you can also pair it with a primer or base.
I have heard really lovely things about Quo brushes so I was thrilled to try out the Quo Brush Set in Brush Up! This set includes 6 brushes and a pouch to store them in–and the cool thing is, the pouch is lined with plastic so if you are traveling with dirty brushes you don’t have to worry about them making a mess. The brushes have a gorgeous grey purple handle and include a liner brow brush, a blush brush, a powder brush, a foundation brush, an eyeshadow brush and a lip brush. There are a couple of these I don’t really use in my makeup routine, but the quality of them is pretty good. The brushes are soft, a little fluffy, and I had no issues shedding. I’ll especially get use out of the powder, blush, and eyeshadow brushes.
