Last week I shared three polishes from the Quo summer collection (you can check out those swatches here) but I was also able to test out a new product for summer from the brand, the Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion in Blossom*, Flirt* and Jazzberry*.
Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion in Blossom, Flirt and Jazzberry are a cream blush product that comes in a tube, and you squeeze a little bit out and then blend it into your cheeks. I generally use my fingers to apply cream blushes, and I found that technique worked well for these. Also, because they are in a tube I can use my fingers without worrying about contaminating the rest of the product, which is pretty awesome!
Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion was only released in three shades, but they manage to span from a more neutral pink, to a peachy brown, to a bright coral. Initially the shades look quite different but they do blend out to be more subtle than they first appear.
The Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusions very shimmery when swatched which scared me a bit, but I actually find they give more of a natural glow on the face than the dreaded glitter bomb. I was wearing the shade Flirt in my recent Annabelle FOTD. Although the shade had worn away quite a lot by the time I took the photo, you can still tell that it didn’t leave behind a mess of sparkle. Overall, I have found the effect of the Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion shades to be more illuminating than anything though, which I think is perfect for summer sunshine weather. The photo of the blended out swatches was taken in the sunshine to help show this.
Lasting time on the Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion in Blossom, Flirt and Jazzberry is okay, about as expected for a cream product they stay on my cheeks for about 5 hours and may still be a bit visible though faded afterwards. I find that I can build the colour up by applying more than one layer of the blush, and I have no issues moving the product around and blending it in before it sets as that takes a few minutes at least.
The Quo Cosmetics Blush Fusion in Blossom, Flirt and Jazzberry shades are all faint enough that I’m not sure they’d work well on darker skin but I do like them for that summer glow.
