Quo by Orly Fall Dance Party Collection 2015: Blue Beat & Epic Remix

Quo by Orly Fall Dance Party Collection 2015 Swatches 2I feel like one brand that gets a bit neglected when it comes to blogs but is absolutely one of my favourites for polishes at the drugstore is Quo by Orly. After a Summer collection of highlighter shades, the Quo by Orly Fall Dance Party Collection 2015 includes 6 new polishes, which are also pretty bright. There are 5 colorful options and one glitter. I have Quo by Orly Blue Beat* and Quo by Orly Epic Remix from the collection to swatch and share today.

Quo by Orly Blue Beat Swatches Quo by Orly Blue Beat Swatches 2 The first shade I have is Quo by Orly Blue Beat, a bright cobalt blue that is very slightly dusty. It actually reminds me a lot of Julep Sophia, which I recently purchased as a part of my Julep Maven August 2015, but it is more affordable and accessible. The formula is gorgeous, it is opaque in 2 perfect coats.

Quo by Orly Epic Remix Swatches Quo by Orly Epic Remix Swatches 2Quo by Orly Epic Remix is a colourful mix of matte small hexes (red, orange, purple, green), large hexes (blue, yellow) and white dots. This is such a cheerful polishes packed with glitter, so you get plenty in one coat although it is a bit thick. It also benefits from a top coat to help even it out so it’s not as textured. Although Quo by Orly Epic Remix is nothing like Rainbow Honey Magic Cake, it gives me the same happy feeling because it’s so much fun. I remember when mainstream brands really just sold standard glitters, and it’s amazing how many unique options you can get now from your local drugstore.

Neither Quo by Orly Blue Beat or Epic Remix are traditional fall shades, but they are both shades I absolutely adore. They have fantastic formulas and I also really love the way they look together. Sarah also has a swatch of the purple shade, Quo by Orly Live in the Moment, so make sure to check out her post for another polish to add to your shopping list!

Do you wear ‘traditional fall shades’ on your nails?
