I have a bit of a sad story to tell you guys. I recently got what first appeared to be a very lovely haircut, only to discover that because the hairdresser had cut off about three feet instead of three inches my curly hair dried horribly. I know. As a result I have become best friends with a straightening iron, and was pretty excited to add a blow dryer to bring my hair tools collection to a total of two. I’ve been using the QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer* from FlatIronExperts.com to help speed up the hair styling process.
The QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer is a compact blow dryer with two additional nozzles included (2-1/2″ and 3″). If you purchase this hair dryer make sure to look for the second nozzle under the box! I love that the blow dryer itself is quite small which is great for both storage and travel. It also has an incredibly sturdy, thick power cord, which I really appreciate because unfortunately I eventually had power-supply issues with my QT Performance Wet to Dry Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron.
A really neat feature of the QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer is how many options and settings it has. There are three different temperatures, depending on if you want cool, warm, or hot air and there are also two motor speeds depending on how strong you want the blow dryer to be. I’m quite impatient so I always got for the top setting, but that is very powerful! I was really shocked at how quickly it blow-dried my hair, which definitely is on the long, thick spectrum.
I’ve shared my hair initially (wet, which always looks fantastic…), then after using the QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer, and then finally after straightening. I don’t have a round brush, and my hair is quite curly, so I prefer to blow dry then straighten, although maybe someday I’ll figure out how to skip the flat iron step.
My package from FlatIronExperts.com also included a little styling surprise along with the QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer, which was the QT Performance Pod Detangling Brush*. I was pretty interested by this after recently giving a bit of a love fest to the Tangle Teezer. This brush is very similar in style although it does have more of a handle than the Tangle Teezer, making it more comfortable to hold. I do find it quite effective, but I think that I am breaking more of my hair because of the fact that I am holding it more like a brush, which doesn’t force me to go as slowly and careful through my hair when combing.
I didn’t own a hair dryer before the QT Performance Hurricane Advanced Tourmaline Hair Dryer, but now I’m a total convert. For straightening my hair, this makes it so much quicker and I love the many options, compact size, and sheer power of this blow dryer. Do you blow dry your hair?
