The got2b Mind Blowing Styling Spray was meant to speed up how fast your hair would dry, and I think it was a nice product to add to my hair although I couldn’t tell you precisely what it does… I really loved the scent of the mark Naked Love Body Wash, and it was quite thick for a gel which was also nice. I also finished up the Dove Quench Absolute Shampoo and Conditioner, which were super moisturizing and smelled great too.
The Fresh Sugar Roll-On Deodorant smelled great but I wasn’t super impressed. The Organix Argan Oil of Morocco was a really lightweight oil, plus I loved the spray packaging. The Nioxin Therm Activ Protector did it’s just as a heat-protectant, or at least, I hope it did…
I really like the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo, although I much prefer the tropical Rio scent to the “fruity” New York, which didn’t seem that fruity to me. I really adore the scent of both Victoria’s Secret Love Spell Smoothing Body Scrub and Hydrating Body Lotion, but I am most tempted to pick up the scrub again–this one was a gift–but it’s super scrubby and satisfying to use.
I had two room sprays I used up, the Claire Burke Vanilla Bean Home Fragrance Spray, which was a Christmas gift and smelled great but didn’t last nearly as long as I expected–maybe we liked it too much and sprayed it a ton? In contrast, the Demeter Home Atmosphere Spray in Sugar Cookie—one of my favourite scents from the brand--was really delicious and lasted forever.
I finished up a bunch more Lush, including the Lush Ultraviolet Bubble Bar, which left the water super pretty but wasn’t my favourite scent from the brand ever although it was soothing. Lush Humpty Dumpty did have an amazing caramel scent. Lush Lovestruck wasn’t super bubbly but did have a nice scent. The Lush Over and Over Bath Bomb had a scent I absolutely adored and left my skin really soft, I definitely hope this one comes back again next Valentine’s Day. Lush Santasaurus did a nice job tinting the water and adding bubbles and it was cute, but it wasn’t quite as exciting as traditional bath bombs.
I finished a tiny sample of Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, but ‘ve finished a full-sized bottle before and it’s nice but not as nice as the Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I don’t like the Bioderma Sebium H20 Solution Micellaire as much as the original because it’s not as eye-friendly. but if you are really acne-prone it might be a good option for the rest of your face. I really love the Bioderma Sensibo H20 Make-Up Removing Wipes, they are really soft, gentle and pretty effective although I tend to only use wipes when traveling. This is my second NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Black I’ve finished and it’s just as wonderful as it was before…will definitely repurchase once I finish a couple more brow products.
The John Freida Frizz Ease Shampoo, Conditioner and Calming Creme were all nice for curly hair, although hard to judge much with one use samples. The Soap Stories Cuticle Oil was really moisturizing and nice but it did leak so I couldn’t bring it anywhere. I don’t think you’ll see a difference with dark spots with any sheet mask, but the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Treatment Mask was still soothing and hydrating to use.
I actually feel like I have a never-ending supply of DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Chai, since I get some every fall, so I wasn’t too concerned about finishing it, but it is a really nice chai especially now that DT discontinued my previous favourite, Pure Chai. I really like DAVIDsTEA Caramel Corn so I did pick up another big container when it was on sale, although it’s quite similar to Forever Nuts. DAVIDsTEA Organic La La Lemon is a great black tea with lemon kick that would also make a great iced tea although I tend to only drink caffeinated teas hot. I really love DAVIDsTEA Mango Fruit Punch as an iced tea, although it is quite heavy so the 25 gram bag does not last long, it’s really delicious in the summer. There’s a little DAVIDsTEA Cold 911, which I really liked and I think I have a bag of but would otherwise definitely purchase.
I also finished up bags of DAVIDsTEA Nutty Granola–really nutty but there was something a bit off about it to me, DAVIDsTEA Maracuja Mango, which is a mango black tea I adored and would definitely repurchase (especially if it goes on sale. SO good!), DAVIDsTEA Live Wire Lemon, which is a really awakening lemongrass mate I really enjoyed, and DAVIDsTEA Berry Refreshing which was a nice herbal berry with lemongrass although there are other herbals I’d repurchase first.
Finally, I finished ALL the matcha. Seriously, DAVIDsTEA Peach Matcha (x5) and DAVIDsTEA Vanilla Matcha (x3). I could drink it daily…and often do!
And those are all the products I’ve used up so far this year! I don’t see myself going back to monthly empties…and I’d say I may be done with empties altogether, but I do find them satisfying to collect so you may see the occasional sporadic empties post up on the blog again in the future. Hopefully before 2018!
Have you finished anything you’d repurchase lately? Do you drink as much tea as I do…?
