I almost forgot because over a year since I participated in a campaign, but I actually belong to this website called BzzAgent that occasionally (once a year, so far) gives me the chance to participate in trying out some products and sharing what I think of them. Sounds an awful lot like this blog, right? So this time I got to test out a new line of haircare, the Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Shampoo*, Conditioner* and BB Cream*.
The Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Shampoo, like the rest of the products, has a “Pantene” salon scent, that is nice but nothing super special or overpowering. However, my favourite thing about this shampoo is the fact that I find it moisturizing, I don’t absolutely feel my hair dying for conditioner after I wash it. My hair tends to be dry, as does my scalp, and I find this shampoo works really well on it. It also lathers well but still rinses out easily.
After I’m done with shampoo it’s time for a little Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Conditioner, and I had a similar experience to this as I did the shampoo. It’s got a nice, unoffensive scent and it is very creamy and nice in my hair. Afterwards, it leaves my hair soft and helps detangle it. Of course, the magic really happens when I add product #3.
I think that the product name, Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 BB Cream, is a bit silly, but I can’t argue with the results. I add a few pumps of this product to my hair after I’ve towel-dried it and run it through using my fingers. I have quite a bit of hair, so I use more than the recommended amount, but haven’t found it left my hair at all greasy. What it does, is help keep it under control, relaxing the curls slightly and adding softness and minimizing frizz. Overall, the end result is that my hair looks more polish and less chaotic. I haven’t been using any other products besides these three, but the end result is definitely one I’m happy with and I’ve even been complimented on it which is a rarity for when I wear my hair curly.
I own a lot of haircare, so I can’t promise that I will be rushing out to repurchase the Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Shampoo, Conditioner and BB Cream because I honestly need to use up what I have. That said, if you aren’t a massive hoarder like I am I highly recommend checking out this line, but I have really enjoyed using it and the results are great. These products have definitely been moved into the “don’t share with boyfriend” side of the shower…
