I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Organix haircare brand and I’ve smelled a few of their products before (Okay, that sounds strange) and they all smell delicious, so even though volume is the last thing I want to add in my hair I was pretty curious when the Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Collection* showed up. I did accidentally receive two conditioners instead of a shampoo–the bottles do look awfully similar, so I will be skipping that step but I’ve been using the rest of the collection for the past month and I’m definitely ready to share my thoughts.
Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Conditioner is a thick, creamy conditioner with a delicious scent that’s actually purple, which for some reason I really love about it. This conditioner gives a lot of lather and it feels great in the hair, but my personal preference is still to regularly follow up with a hair mask.
The one product I had a bit of a hard time reviewing is the Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Root Boost Spray. This is a lightweight spray, and I like using it when my hair is damp. My hair naturally has a lot of volume, but when I straighten it, it can got a bit flatter, and I think this helps balance that out, but it is a slight distance that is hard to compare. I’ve made quite a dent in all three of these products though so they will show up in my empties eventually and maybe I’ll have a clearer opinion of them then!
Finally, there’s the Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Weightless Healing Dry Oil. This product is a dry oil that does not leave my hair feeling greasy at all, and it is really easy to apply in the spray bottle. My major issue is that it’s also not quite moisturizing enough, but it does help increase the shine so if you have thin hair I think this would be a great choice.
Obviously, the Organix Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Collection is not intended for my thick curly hair. However I will say that although I haven’t fallen in love with any of these products, it has definitely introduced me to a brand I am interested in trying more from, especially if everything else smells this yummy!
Have you tried Organix before?
