Back in March OPI released a collection of polishes in collaboration with the Muppets Most Wanted movie, and today I’m sharing a few of the shades I tried out. I received three polishes from OPI Muppets Most Wanted, which were Kermit Me To Speak*, Intl Crime Caper* and Miss Piggy’s Big Number*.
OPI Muppets Most Wanted Kermit Me To Speak is a duochrome that shifts between purple and green, and there looks like there’s some copper and pink in there too. I love the idea of duochromes, but some of these shades look the same to me and I don’t like the slightly streaky finish. This was surprisingly sheer with one coat but it is totally opaque with three, and it’s a good colour to pick up with the warmer weather because it will definitely work its magic in the sunshine as the duochrome is very strong.
OPI Muppets Most Wanted Intl Crime Caper is a sheer white polish with a pink shimmer to it, which is easy to layer over another polish or wear on its own. I’m wearing one coat over Miss Piggy’s Big Number and three on its own. I really like the look it gives to a darker polish, but I’m not a fan of sheer nail polish so I would wear it own its own. That said it has a great formula that is even and easy to apply so if it appeals to you it is definitely worth picking up.
As almost always I saved my favourite for last, and that’s OPI Muppets Most Wanted Miss Piggy’s Big Number, a bright glowy, long-lasting blue. I’m wearing three coats of this polish and again, great formula and you could maybe get away with two but I do prefer three. I had only slight tip wear with this polish over three days. If you’re looking for a great, dark yet bright, shimmery blue this is definitely a shade worth grabbing.
Well that’s it, and I know it’s been a few OPI polishes lately but I’m all caught up and waiting for the next collection! Which of these polishes from the OPI Muppets Most Wanted collection is your favourite?
