All the way back in October, one of the first holiday products I shared were three polishes from the Gwen Stefani Holiday for OPI Collection, and today I’m back with three more, except this time they come in pre-packaged together and ready for gifting. The OPI Gwen Stefani Rollin’ in Cashmere Trio* includes three full size polishes, which are Rollin’ in Cashmere, Snow Globetrotter and Comet in the Sky.
The namesake polish in the OPI Gwen Stefani Rollin’ in Cashmere Trio is of course, OPI Rollin’ in Cashmere, a warm, yellowy gold that has a thin formula and is definitely a touch streaky. I went with two coats and unfortunately it’s just not that forgiving to my miserable nails, but it is quite a festive shade, especially topped with some glitter.
There are two glitters in the OPI Gwen Stefani Rollin’ in Cashmere Trio, and the first one is on my pinkie and ring finger, and that’s OPI Comet In The Sky, a gorgeous which is made up of various black and iridescent glitters. It’s really pretty and unusual, and is definitely a shade that initially caught my eye from the collection so I’m excited to have finally tried it out. With both glitters, I went with one coat plus a little dabbing to get the coverage I wanted.
The third and final shade in the OPI Gwen Stefani Rollin’ in Cashmere Trio is the one on my middle finger and index finger, and that’s OPI Snow Globetrotter which is sorta like the reverse of Comet in the Sky, and much more subtle. There’s some small white glitter, as well as the iridescent chunks, and I think the polish name for it is perfect as it really reminds me of a snow globe. I don’t think this polish is best shown off over Rollin’ in Cashmere, and I’ll be applying it over a navy or black next time.
Overall, the OPI Gwen Stefani Rollin’ in Cashmere Trio is a lovely set that would make a great gift this holiday season for any glitter lover. I also appreciate that although these polishes are nice for the holidays, they aren’t green and red. Although the gold wasn’t a huge success for me, both the glitters are pretty and unique in my collection. Which of these shades is your favourite?
