October 2014 Favourites

October 2014 Favourites 3It’s been awhile but I am finally back with a monthly favourites! I definitely want to do these, you know, monthly, so hopefully I can stick with it, because I have some great products to share for my October 2014 Favourites. As always I tried to stick with a variety, there’s a lotion, fragrance, lip product, foundation, eye shadow and mascara, as well as a nail polish. What do they have in common? Well, they are in this post for starters.

October 2014 Favourites 2First up is the makeup for my October 2014 Favourites. There’s this gorgeous Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette that I’m just obsessed with, and I really love all the shadows in it. Girly is especially useful for an all-over the lid, one shadow look because the duochrome makes it look like you put in way more effort than you did.

I actually always thought I loved rubber brushes for mascara, but the Smashbox Eye Brightening Mascara* may be changing my mind, or maybe I just love this specific one. It makes my lashes look super long and wide-eyed, and apparently has blue pigments to help bright your eyes. I really do think it makes my eyes and lashes look great.

My skin has been looking fantastic whenever I’ve worn the L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation* and I really wish I wasn’t finishing up another product I have or it would have been every day since I got this. It’s amazing. Just check out the before and after in my review…

From the same brand is the L’Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Nourishing Nude, which I’m actually almost done my second tube of. I love love this lip product! I will definitely be sad when it’s all gone.

October 2014 FavouritesThe Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Triple Moisture Body Cream was actually in my favourites last year (in November, hmm…), but I pulled it out again this month to finish up and it just smells amazing and does a fantastic job moisturizing.

Another great scent is the Lady Gaga Fame* perfume, which looks black and has a rich honey scent. I have a pretty small bottle, so I wouldn’t be surprised to finish this up by the time fall is over.

Finally, I used my Enchanted Polish in Presto Magic for the first time this month and it was just as gorgeous as I thought it would be. This is a holographic dark blue. I have bought a few Enchanted polishes (at retail price from Nail Polish Canada) but with the size of my current collection, I can’t really justify them anymore. Except last time I just had to order this one and I’m so glad I did.

Well that’s it for this months’ favourites. Have you tried any of these? What have you been loving?
