Miss me? Hopefully not because I’ve worked to schedule loads of posts while I’m away. Plus I have a few lovely ladies stopping by to keep this space busy. But today it’s all me and my garbage. I mean November 2015 Empties.
This Pantene Pro-V Ultimate 10 Conditioner* is an oldie but I am working to clear out some of my stash. It’s a really nice conditioner but I hated how hard it was to get out of the bottle at the end. Shampoo and conditioner bottles really need to be squeezable. I also used up a Dove Style+Care Frizz Proof Cream-Serum, which was nice for making my hair more manageable but nothing super special. I really liked the Avon Advance Techniques Reconstruction 7 Intense Recovery Mask*.
The little Secret Clear Gel Scent Expressions in Cocoa Butter Kiss* had a lovely scent, but I prefer solid to gel deodorants. I also adored the scent of the Avon Foot Works Beautiful Moisturizing Cream in Toasted Macadamia Nut* which I used as an all over lotion. Avon definitely needs to make more products in this scent! The final product in the “I love it because of the scent” category is the Dial Fresh Pear Antibacterial Foaming Hand Wash. I love pear and there’s few products with that scent, but as I’ve said before, I am using shower gel in these foaming hand dispensers for a DYI foaming soap.
As always, there’s a few Lush November 2015 Empties including the Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Soap* which I adore for great lather and scent, and the lovely lavender scented Lush Twilight Bath Bomb*. I picked up the Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub for Boxing Day and it took forever to use as just a face scrub, but it was really nice and refreshing. The Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser* was really nice on my skin, but I find Lush cleansers just a bit messy to use and I wasn’t a huge fan of the herbal scent.
For lazy days the Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh Cleansing Cloths* did the job but I definitely preferred the Garnier Clean+ Soothing Remover Cleansing Towelettes ones I had tried previously. The DAVIDsTEA Cranberry Orange Muffin was good but not memorable enough to fall into my “must repurchase” category.
Finally, a few more products I didn’t apply to my face or body. There’s the DAVIDsTEA Pineapple Daiquiri Mix, which honestly took me awhile to finish because 135 grams is a lot of tea (should have thought of that before I made that massive order!) and while I liked Redberry Tonic, the coconut in Hot Tropic means I wouldn’t repurchase it. Finally, I used up the Avon Salted Caramel Candle* and the Avon Mandarin Cranberry Candle*, both of which I loved–but not quite as much as Whipped Pumpkin.
November 2015 Empties included 11 beauty products and 4 tea and candles. It’s a small month but it’s something!
Year-to-date totals? Beauty: 186 and Tea and Candles: 89.
