Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion

Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion 2I don’t have much experience with Nivea products, but they have always seemed to me like a nourishing brand that is good for sensitive skin. They also make one of my favourite lip balms (reviewed here) so I was definitely interested to try out some of their new products including Nivea Sensitive Face Care*, Creme Care Shower Cream* and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion*.

Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body LotionThere are three new products in the Nivea Sensitive Face Care range, one for removing makeup and cleansing, and two for moisturizing afterwards. First up, and my personal favourite out of the five I’m sharing in this post, is the Nivea Sensitive 3 in 1 Micellar Cleansing Water. This is a really nice micellar water, that is scent-free, leaves behind no residue, and does a great job clearing makeup off my skin. You may need something oil-based for really stubborn mascara, but I have been happily using this all over my face for the last few weeks.

Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion 4The Nivea Sensitive Face Care range also includes two lotions, a Nivea Sensitive Day Care Moisturizer and a Night Care. Both are scent-free, easily absorbing lotions that I can definitely see would be great for sensitive skin, with the night one being heavier. They are definitely effective, but my only complaint is that I wish the daytime lotion had SPF in it.

Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion 3I’ve also been using two products from the brand on my body. In the shower, there’s the Nivea Creme Care Shower Cream, which is a very creamy, moisturizing shower gel that is a great option for the winter to help keep your skin from drying out. It has a soft, “Nivea” scent that reminds me a bit of baby powder, as does the Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Lotion. The lotion comes in very convenient pump packaging, and leaves a light scent behind for a few hours afterwards. I found it incredibly moisturizing, and I think it would be a fantastic all over lotion for anyone with dry skin, especially during the winter months.

Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion 5It’s been quite awhile since I’ve used any non-lip Nivea products, but I definitely enjoyed the Nivea Sensitive Face Care, Creme Care Shower Cream and Cocoa Butter Body Lotion. I think if you have sensitive skin, dry skin, or aren’t a fan of some of the overpowering scents body and face care can have, these products would be a great choice for you. They are definitely also “guy friendly” with both scent and packaging. My personal favourite is the Micellar Cleansing Water!

What’s your favourite Nivea product?
