Did somebody say rose-scented products? You know I’m going to come running. Moroccanoil body products are now available in three scents. There’s Moroccanoil Fragrance Original “The Sensorial Experience”, Moroccanoil Fleur D’Oranger “The Invigorating Experience” and of course, Moroccanoil Fleur De Rose ” The Sensual Experience”. Pretty obvious which one I was most interested in!
I’ve been trying out the Moroccanoil Fleur de Rose Body Buff* and Body Souffle* which is the perfect shower duo to cleanse and moisturize. They come in the heaviest containers I have ever tried for body care, with very thick heavy translucent plastic–pink for the Body Buff, clear for the Body Souffle. The silver lids has detailing around the outside and screw on nicely. These are pretty heavy for travel but they look absolutely stunning as a product you store on the edge of your bathtub. I might have to refill them (especially that Body Buff) with something else afterwards…
The Moroccanoil Fleur de Rose Body Buff is a gentle exfoilator that uses Mediterranean quartz sand in a base that includes nourishing ingredients like of argan, sesame, grape seed, avocado and sweet almond oils. This is is the kind of scrub that almost leaves a slight film on your skin but it’s not oily and gross like I found the Cake Citrus Squeeze Body Scrub to be (woah, old post). Instead, it’s like exfoliating with lotion, and my skin is left extra soft. Of course, there’s that amazing natural rose scent that lightly scents your skin afterwards too.
To follow up the Body Buff, there’s the luxurious Moroccanoil Fleur de Rose Body Souffle. This is a very lightweight lotion with an almost whipped consistency (hence the “souffle”) that’s perfect for summer. Or any time of year because it is very lovely! It contains a blend of argan oil and shea butter that doesn’t leave my skin greasy, but does a great job sinking in and moisturizing. It has the same lovely rose scent, which I adore, and the scent is a tad stronger on the skin than the Body Buff.
These products were my first time trying Moroccanoil, and I was definitely impressed. You are paying more, but the packaging and ingredients justify it. These are definitely a little more of a luxurious body care experience than I’m used to but…I could get used to it!
In addition to the Moroccanoil Fleur de Rose Body Buff and Body Souffle there’s a Cleansing Bar, Shower Milk, Body Butter and Hand Cream available. Are you Team Rose or Team Get Off My Blog (Just kidding…mostly)?
