When I first started to share travel-friendly beauty for the trip I’m currently on (any Madison, Wisconsin recommendations? I still have a week and a half left!) one of the products I talked about was the super convenient the Mèreadesso Travel Ease Kit. This is a brand that is all about products that do more than one thing, and that’s exactly what you get with Mereadesso Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer in Light.
The Mereadesso Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer gives the benefits of a moisturizer while offering color and light coverage to the skin. It’s also meant to work as a serum, primer, day cream and eye cream all in one. To help accomplish this the ingredient list includes 16 botanical extracts, 8 minerals and enzymes as well as over 20 antioxidants. One interesting tip offered on the website? You’ll still need to use sunscreen, but make sure you apply it after the moisturizer so it doesn’t block the absorption of vitamins in the moisturizer!
I’ll never complain about a pump, and the Mereadesso Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer comes packaged in a no-nonsense white and silver (aluminum?) bottle. I do like to see how much product is left in a container, but I know sometimes exposure to light is bad for products, and you can screw off the pump to check if you’re really curious (I am!)
In terms of shades, there are 4 different options available and I have the lightest one, Light. While sheer, it’s still pretty orange. It also has a fairly strong fragrance, and I’m not sure what it is, maybe one of the botanical ingredients?
I’m going to be honest with you, the Mereadesso Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer in Light looks a lot better in these photos on me than I felt like it did in person. The issue is most noticeable if you look at my neck in the second picture. It’s just too orange and I kept having to blend it down and I still felt too orange to leave the house comfortably. It does give a bit of glow to the skin, and it’s very comfortable to wear with a natural finish. However, I’m not sure what the solution is to the orange and I’d be careful of this if you have super fair skin.
Overall, the Mereadesso Tinted All-in-One Moisturizer has a lot of promise, from the ingredients to the lightweight sheer coverage, but the shade Light was surprisingly orange and not a good match for my skin. Still, Mereadesso is definitely a brand I’d try more products from in the future, and I’m especially interested in the Lip Treats at the moment!
Do you have a favourite Tinted Moisturizer? I tend to reach for BB Creams but I’d love to know your recommendations!
