Maybelline Bleached Neons Coral Heat and Bleached in Peach

For once the warm weather outside is agreeing with the many brands releasing summer collections, and one I was especially excited about was the Maybelline Bleached Neons, which includes a huge variety of makeup. I am definitely interested in the LE Colour Tattoos, but today I have some gorgeous polishes from the collection to share, Maybelline Bleached Neons Coral Heat* and Bleached in Peach*.

Maybelline Bleached Neons Coral Heat is a bright but muted shade that I think fits well with the collection name. Unfortunately the formula is more on the neon side– it was a bit gloopy and didn’t dry to a shiny finish. I went with three coats, which was needed to cover up the fact that it was streaky at first, but there’s no white base required under these shades which is a pretty big win for neons.

Again, I think Maybelline really nails it with the bleached neon look, because that’s exactly what I’m getting in this peach shade. Less flawless is the formula, which is a bit better than Coral Heat, but still requires 3 coats for that creamy and opaque finish.

I do wish the formula was better on both shades, but the colours are just fantastic so I can’t help recommending grabbing Maybelline Bleached Neons Coral Heat and Bleached in Peach anyway! There’s a bunch of other fantastic polish shades in this collection and I want them all, especially the purple Kalyn featured in her NOTD here.

What’s on your nails this summer?
