Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner is a summer 2014 release from the brand in four bright pigmented shades, Hello Violet*, The Real Teal*, Blew My Mind * and Gold Metal*. Although I actually don’t wear eyeliner and I’m a bit hopeless at applying these, I really love the look of a bright pop of colour especially during the hotter months.
Although I didn’t have the easiest time applying these, I think that is mainly down to lack of experience as they seem to have a fairly standard liquid liner applicator. I did find there was a bit too much product on the felt tip at times, which made it a bit harder to get a crisp line. They do take awhile to dry, but once they are on, they don’t move. In fact, Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner in The Real Teal doesn’t move so well it ends up staining, so that’s worth noting
Considering how long lasting Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliners are, they are perfect for more oily lids as well as summer months. I tested out Gold Metal and it lasted all day on me. All the shades are pretty pigmented and unfortunately my favourite is also the stainer, The Real Teal is just gorgeous.
Overall, these new Mary Kay At Play Bold Fluid Eyeliner are bright fun shades for summer and have a good formula if you are looking for a bright liquid liner! I like them enough I almost want to figure out a way to apply liquid liner nicely…
Do you add some colour to your eye looks during the summer months? What do you think of these liners?
