Last week I shared the many new brow options from Annabelle Cosmetics, but now I’m back with the sister brand, the slightly more grown up Marcelle. There are a bunch of exciting new launches for Marcelle, but for today’s post I’m narrowing it down to the Marcelle Fall 2015 Brows and Eyeliners that you can now find in drugstores.

The new Marcelle Forever Sharp Eyebrow Pencil appears to be the counterpart to the Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner, although unfortunately it is only available in three shades (Blond, which is pictured, as well ad Medium Brown and Dark Brown) so it seems unlikely there’s as perfect as match for me as the Annabelle one. Of course, I’m still in love with the self-sharpening packaging as you twist the lid, but although this shade was too light for me to test on myself, once again I definitely miss having a spoolie.

The twin to the Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner, is the new Marcelle Nano Eyebrow Liner, which features a very precise tip on one end and a spoolie on the other. Unlike the Annabelle, I am glad to see an actual spoolie–don’t mess with my spoolie. There are actually 5 shades (compared to 3 with Annabelle) which include Auburn, Dark Brown, Blond, Fair Ash Blond and Medium Brown. I only have the Medium Brown, which is again, too light for my brows, but I love that there are cool and warm-toned options, especially for blonds.

If for some implausible reason you’ve gotten your brow fix, you definitely don’t have enough eyeliners, so you probably need a new Marcelle Forever Sharp Eyeliner. This is a self-sharpening, pigmented liner that absolutely lasts all day. This liner is creamy enough to apply gorgeous, but smudge-proof and waterproof. I have the Marcelle Forever Sharp Eyeliner in Prussian Blue, which is actually more of a blue-ish dark green to me, however there are 7 other shades and I’m especially lusting over the Grape, Taupe, and Spruce Green options. Don’t they just sound gorgeous?

The second Marcelle Fall 2015 Eyeliner option is the Marcelle 2-in-1 Retractable Eyeliner, a twist-up liner with a smudge on one end available in two new shades (and 6 previously available ones). The end of this liner detaches so you can also use it as a sharpener if you want a more precise point. I have the Marcelle 2-in-1 Retractable Eyeliner in Midnight Blue, which is a dark shimmery blue that is definitely not as pigmented as the Stay Sharp liners. However, you are better able to smudge and blend it, so if that’s a concern this might be a good option. It’s still fairly long-lasting but also not as good as the Stay Sharp. I don’t often wear eyeliner, but of course I had to test these out so I decided to try the Marcelle 2-in-1 Retractable Eyeliner in Midnight Blue on the inner half of my lid, and the Marcelle Forever Sharp Eyeliner in Prussian Blue on the outer half. I actually really love the sort of gradient effect as the two shades blend together. I may have to play with the concept more!
I’ve been really lucky to try out plenty of the new products from both Annabelle Cosmetics and Marcelle, so I hope that through my reviews you are able to get a better idea which products you might want to pick up! Personally, I’m still in love with Annabelle for brows, but that’s mostly because I have the perfect Ebony shade. My favourite pick from the Marcelle Fall 2015 Brows and Eyeliners is definitely the Marcelle Forever Sharp Eyeliner in Prussian Blue!
Have you added anything to your shopping list yet? I’ll be back with even more releases from the brand eventually!
