Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution

Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution 2It seems like every time I do a makeup remover review I have to talk about how it bothers my eyes, so I guess that means they are sensitive. As a result, my favourite way to remove makeup is to start off with micellar water and my go-to is definitely the Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water.

Marcelle recently sent me a lovely thank you for hosting a Canadian Beauty Bloggers twitter party, and the first thing I noticed was the Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution*. I was pretty excited about it because I had such a good experience with the Marcelle Ultra Gentle Cleansing Gel last year.

Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution 3To start off, the Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution has some pretty excellent packaging. The blue flip top is both pretty and very function. I have another micellar water with a pump (not naming any names…Vichy…) that seems to make a mess every time I use it, but that’s definitely not the case with this. Of course, what we really care about is what’s inside.

First off, I can tell you there’s no added fragrance, which means I immediately prefer the Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution to the new Bioderma Hydrabio Micelle Solution. That said, as soon as I apply it to my eyes I feel…nothing. Truth is, I think this is a Bioderma dupe!

Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar SolutionI have been really impressed by the Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution so far. If you have a ton of makeup on, a cleansing oil is a great way to go, and I do follow up with a cleanser, but I love how effective and refreshing this makeup remover is. I can use it on my whole face, and like the Bioderma Hydrabio, there’s even glycerin to keeping my skin from drying out. Honestly a fantastic product and I can’t wait to start trying out the other goodies in my surprise box!

Have you tried the Marcelle 3-in-1 Micellar Solution? It originally went by the name Marcelle Essentials Cleansing Water, but luckily the product  has a new name and packaging but it is definitely still available.
