Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder

First, this is a late review because honestly I got this product during a horrible two weeks in March and it got accidentally buried for a little while but luckily Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder* is a permanent product, so it is not too late to share this amazing powder with you!

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder 2The Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder is a pressed version of the well-loved MUFE HD Powder and I was really excited (if a bit slow at) testing it out. Loose powders are kinda messy and definitely not purse-friendly, so I am really glad that MUFE created a pressed version.

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder 4The Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder comes in the same easily depot-able format as their new HD cream blushes like #225 that I reviewed here. However, I will definitely be keeping mine in the compact because it is slim, sleek, with a good-sized mirror and no annoying brush I will never use anyway. Packaging aside, the Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder works as a setting powder that also blurs pores and reduces shine.

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed PowderI wanted to swatch the Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder but I couldn’t! It might be white in the pan, but it is completely invisible on the skin. The phrase “finely milled” gets thrown around a lot when it comes to powders, but this is the first one I’ve tried that 100% embodied that. It is silky smooth, but not powdery, and applies flawlessly. The end result is hard to capture on camera, but it reduces shine and increases the lasting power of whatever is underneath. Because of how finely milled it is, the Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder doesn’t make foundation look cakey and does a great job making my skin look flawlessly.

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder 3There are plenty of drugstore powders available, but this is my first time trying a high end one and I was really blown away by the Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder. It is incredibly lightweight and flawless on the skin and really gives a gorgeous, long-lasting finish. This is a splurge but if you can afford it, this powder is incredible and I definitely recommend trying it out.

What setting powder do you use? Have you tried the new Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Pressed Powder or the original version?
