MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225

I LOVE CREAM BLUSH. There, I said it. I never really wore blush until I discovered cream blushes, and I just think they are awesome. They look so natural and gorgeous, and the only problem is that they sometimes melt away way too fast. Luckily, MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225 doesn’t have this problem at all!

MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225, a peachy pink that appears much more pinky in the pan/my photos and much more peachy in swatches/my face. These are cream blushes at their finest, it blends perfectly into my skin but then sets like a powder instead. It looks very natural, and out of all the shades I could honestly see myself wearing most of them! I had a really hard time deciding which one I wanted, but I am definitely happy with my choice.

I wore MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225 to the movies last weekend and in the car my boyfriend (who has never made a comment like this before) told me my cheeks looked pretty. It just gives such a natural lovely glow. You can apply this using a brush or your fingers, although I’ve been using my fingers including in this photo below.

I’ve been wearing MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225 all week and it’s been lasting the entire day, over 10 hours, until I remove it. I honestly kept checking for it on a makeup remover pad because I couldn’t believe it was still there, even if I didn’t set it with any kind of powder. Usually I do set my cream blushes with a layer of powder to get them to last, but with this one it is definitely not necessary.

The new MUFE packaging also has a really cool feature for depotting addicts, there’s a tiny pinhole in the back and you can simply pop the product out of the compact (the HD Pressed Powder has this as well) and into your magnetic palette. It is very easy to put it back in, and you don’t have to worry at all about damaging it. I’ve been keeping my products in their originally packaging so far, but I think this is really cool and wish all brands did it. This way you can also put the blush back in the compact for travel.

Colorwise, there’s a reason I was so drawn to this shade. I actually own a very near dupe to MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225 in my collection (Whoops!) which is a MUA cream blush called Dolly, however #225 (on the right) does sheer out nicer so it is better for blending and is also longer lasting. That said, I do love the MUA blushes and for a budget alternative I definitely recommend them, but if you can afford it, the MUFE blush is definitely a treat!

I’m supposed to be testing another blush now, but I admit that I have been wearing MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Cream Blush in #225 an extra few days, just because it’s so pretty! It adds a great glow, is incredibly long-lasting, and definitely has me lusting over other shades from the collection.

Do you wear cream blush? Have you tried the new ones from MUFE yet?
