If there’s one thing that will always make a great gift for me, regardless of the holiday, it’s LUSH (and tea. But it’s much easier to guarantee that the Lush will work with my tastes). This year there’s an especially large Lush Valentine’s Day Collection to pick from, and whether you’re rushing for a last minute or just want to treat yourself, you’ll want to check out these products!
The Lush Lovestruck Bubble Bar is a brand new product which is shaped like an emoji–honestly, I feel like mine is a little creepy/cute–and has a lemon geranium scent. I really love lemon and the floral blend gives the tartness more depth, although just plain lemon is always okay with me too. To use this, you crumble it into the bath and it gives the water a light yellow colour and adds bubbles. I actually didn’t find this to be the bubblest Bubble Bar I’ve ever tried, but the bubbles it did create were very long-lasting.
IT’S BACK! For aesthetic purposes alone, the Lush Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar has got to be my favourite product from the brand. Because, unicorn horn. After a makeover last year, this looks the same to me this year, so if you’ve been missing it you’ll definitely want to pick some more up! It has a very relaxing scent of lavender, ylang ylang and neroli and it’s a mix of pastel yellow, blue and pink which also adds a slight shimmer to the water.
I get pretty excited over new bath bombs, so the first product I tried out from the Lush Valentine’s Day Collection was the Lush Over and Over Bath Bomb. Orange and yellow on the outside, this has a secret pink core which gives the water a pinkish orange tint. Scent-wise, this is another citrus option with a lime and fennel fragrance, that’s definitely more tart than the Lovestruck Bubble Bar. I really, really love this fragrance! It’s a great way to have a relaxing bath that also perks you up a bit. Plus, the third ingredient is cocoa butter so it leaves your skin buttery soft.
The last product I have to share from the Lush Valentine’s Day Collection is another brand new one, the Lush Lover Lamp Bath Bomb. If you love sweet, warm vanilla scents you need this bath bomb which smells so warm and cozy but actually has a hint of Brazilian orange oil in it too. It also has lots of cocoa butter to moisturize your skin, making this the perfect winter Bath Bomb.
If you’ve been reading my blog for years you know I’ve been giving rave reviews to Lush products for years, and that obsession hasn’t abated yet! I am so excited there are loads of new products to share in the Lush Valentine’s Day 2017 Collection, and I’d recommend any of these. I’m sorry but I’m not picking a favourite this time!
In addition to the products I reviewed here, there are even more bath bombs and wonderfulness, including the Lush Prince Charming Shower Cream (reviewed here), Lush The Kiss Lip Gloss (reviewed here) and Lush The Kiss Lip Scrub (reviewed here).
Have you tried any of the products from the Lush Valentine’s Day Collection? Which one are you most interested in?
