Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt

The second I read about the Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt* I was hooked. It’s a first time combination for Lush, with a moisturizing bath melt exterior and fizzy bath bomb center. Of course there’s also gold luster involved, as well as one of my very favourite toffee-honey scents (Honey I Washed the Kids). But did the end results meet my high expectations?

Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt

Honestly, I absolutely adored using the Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt. This is a fairly expensive product from Lush ($8.95) because if you’re used to dividing bath bombs in two, I’m not sure how you could that with this. That said, the end result is absolutely luxurious. The scent is amazing, and you definitely get that toffee scent although I feel like the citrus/orange note in this is a bit stronger than in my Honey I Washed The Kids soap– although it does become much less obvious once the bath bomb melt has dissolved.

1-Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt

Once dissolved in the water, Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt results in an incredibly moisturizing bath with a heavenly scent and a slightly yellow-tinted water which manages to shimmer because of the luster. Although that means there is a tiny bit of clean up, I didn’t find it to be much of a hassle unlike some bath bombs with a lot of stuff inside them. My skin amazing, and even my boyfriend commented on the scent– he could smelled it in the room across the hall with the door shut!

The Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt is definitely a decadent experience but if you are looking to spoil somebody–maybe even yourself, then it is easily worth the spurge!
