I’m finally home! After three weeks of travel there were a few things I was super excited about. My boyfriend, my bed, and my shower. Possibly not in that order. The water in Wisconsin was really hard and my hair felt disgusting for weeks but yesterday I managed to take two showers and they were made even better by the use of the Lush The Comforter Shower Cream.
The Lush The Comforter Shower Cream is inspired by the brand’s much-loved bubble bar. I mean, I liked it so much I wrote a poem about it. The scent is a sweet, creamy mix of blackcurrant and vanilla which is still a bit tart at the same time and absolutely delicious. It is a stronger fragrance, but honestly, that’s what I want and expect from Lush.
In terms of consistency, the Lush The Comforter Shower Cream is fairly runny so it doesn’t lather super well, but it’s still moisturizing on the skin. It’s a bright purpley-pink with iridescence, and very pigmented although I had no issues with staining. If you liked the formula of the Lord of Misrule Shower Cream, then this is very similar. It leaves my skin lightly scented after a shower which lasts about 30 minutes.
Overall, whether you are a long-time fan of the Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar or just looking for a new sweet, fruity scent, I definitely recommend picking up the Lush The Comforter Shower Cream. Do you have a favourite shower gel from Lush? I also really love the Beautiful scent!
