I first celebrated the release of Lush Celebrate Hand And Body Lotion* in 2013 (here), and then again in 2014 (here), and today I’m celebrating with Lush Celebrate again! This citrus-scented lotion was first a Japanese bestseller, and if we’re lucky, Lush will keep bringing it back to North America each winter.
The Lush Celebrate Hand And Body Lotion has a yummy citrus scent that combines orange oil, lime oil, and orange flower absolute, with a little hit of cognac oil to brighten it even further. I didn’t realize, but it’s actually the same scent as the Golden Wonder Bath Bomb (which I love) so the two would be perfect paired together. Winter is often full of rich, creamy, heavy scents, and Lush Celebrate is a refreshing change and so delicious it should definitely be a permanent addition to the Lush lineup. Please?
The Lush Celebrate Hand And Body Lotion actually has a fairly lightweight consistency to it, but it’s incredibly moisturizing. It leaves my skin feeling really soft, and it’s not at all greasy so it actually works as both a hand and body lotion. I really don’t need to apply much, and my last tub took me until the following April to finish. It’s also self-preserving, but the expiration date is still over a year away, so there’s plenty of time to use it. When you’re done, you can add it to your stash of clean black Lush pots and trade 5 in for a free fresh face mask.
There are plenty of new exciting Lush Holiday 2015 releases, and I’ll be sharing a couple of them on the blog, but I have three longterm favourites I always hope to see back each year and those are: Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel (reviewed here), Lush Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb (reviewed here), and of course, the Lush Celebrate Hand And Body Lotion (reviewed in this blog post you just read!)
