Some of the things I can’t resist include: Lush, limited edition products, books/literary inspired things. Combine them all and I was pretty excited about the Lush Bubblegrub Bubbleroon*, which was inspired by the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar and is only around for spring.
Lush Bubblegrub Bubbleroon is an adorable caterpillar creature that has a vanilla, tonka and sandalwood scent that’s not overly sweet. In addition to being the cutest thing ever, it’s easily breaks in two like all bubbleroons so that you can use it for two baths. You crumble it under running water and get plenty of bubbles. The water itself is very silky and softening on the skin thanks to ingredients like shea butter. I find the scent is subtle but relaxing in the bath, and my skin felt really nice afterwards.
Of course, while the bath water looks orange in my photo, the shade you get from the Lush Bubblegrub Bubbleroon depends entirely on which half you use. I started with the head (SORRY). I did have the same issue I always have with Lush products containing chocolate chips, which is that slight brown smear since they don’t dissolve 100%. I recommend…taking off the eyes before putting the Lush Bubblegrub Bubbleroon in your bath. Although the vanilla bean is also left over, it does add scent-wise to the bath and is easy to clean up after.
Can you resist the Lush Bubblegrub Bubbleroon?
