Lush Brightside Bubble Bar* is from the Lush Easter 2014 Collection, but lucky for you (and me!) this is going to be a permanent edition to the Lush collection. I still recommend rushing out and getting it out, because it’s amazing, but at least this way you can keep rebuying it in the future. I was at Lush the other day and almost got a second one even though I’m only half done this!
The Lush Brightside Bubble Bar is a massive 200 g as you can tell by comparing it to my not-tiny hand, and you can easily get two baths out of it, although I actually broke mine up into quarters for four baths. I find the scent and colour still strong, but obviously it would be even more powerful if you used more. This bubble bar doesn’t smell like anything else in my Lush collection, but it is a delicious mix of mandarin, tangerine and bergamot that is fresh and delicious. For anyone who isn’t a fan of super sweet Lush scents, this would probably be a good choice as well. In addition to the citrus scent, the Lush Brightside Bubble Bar adds an orange colour–as well as bubbles, of course– to your water when crumbled under a running tap. The more you use the more bubbles you will get, but even with the amount I used I found it quite generous. The bubbles were long lasting and the scent of the water was just mouthwatering. It is a very fresh, nice bath after a long day and I think the citrus scent would be really nice during the summer too.
I am just about to finish up my Lush Celebrate Body Lotion from Christmas and I love pairing it with this bubble bar. I adore my rose and vanilla scents, but there’s something just so refreshing and delicious about citrus. It is hard to pick favourites, but honestly, if you only grab one product of the Lush Easter 2014 Collection, it should probably be this one! And maybe everything else too…
How do you feel about citrus scents?
