Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser Review

Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser Review 2I finished my very first Lush cleanser, the Lush Buche de Noel, back in March 2015 Empties and I had been using other cleansers since, but lately I’ve returned to the brand with the Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser*, which is a gentle, self-preserving cleanser from the permanent lineup.

Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser Review 4The Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser is intended to smooth and balance skin, so it contains ingredients like ground almonds, kaolin clay, lavender oil, rose absolute and chamomile oil. The scent is definitely a mix of those, which is nowhere near as yummy as their Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser, which I basically want to eat. This one is a bit herbal-strong for me, but not awful.

Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser Review 3Similar to Buche de Noel, I found the Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser quite messy to use, which I guess is a given with this format. I stick to using it in the shower, because then I don’t have to worry about cleaning it up, and while I don’t use it on my whole body I do like using it on my neck as well.

The Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser provides a gentle exfoliation that can be used daily, and it definitely left my skin feeling clean, but not uncomfortable squeaky clean. It also seems to be helping stave off breakouts so far, so my skin looks pretty good!

Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser ReviewI’m still a bit of a skeptic when it comes to Lush Cleansers in a pot, because I prefer skincare to be as lazy as possible. I’m also not a huge fan of the scent of the Lush Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser, but I really like how it leaves my skin feeling, so I’m going to stick it out to the end of the container, and maybe I’ll be totally converted by the time it makes it way into my empties!

Have you ever tried a Lush Cleanser before? I still want the Lush Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser, so you should probably tell me I need it…
