L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye Concealer

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye Concealer 2I love trying out new products (otherwise it would be pretty silly to have this blog!) and some of the ones I’ve been using lately are the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer*, Blush* and CC Eye Concealer*. These products are meant blur and hide fine lines and give you a polished, refreshed look. Sounds good to me!

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye ConcealerThe first product is the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer,  which I have in the shade Light. This is actually the lightest shade in the range, and it’s obviously still quite dark, so I don’t see this concealer working for everyone. It’s not the thickest concealer I’ve used so it doesn’t give me 100% coverage and I wouldn’t use it alone on any active blemishes, but if you’re trying to cover up a little pigmentation it would probably do the job. It also does look extremely natural when it blends into the skin.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye ConcealerThe L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Berry is definitely one of the blushes with the most unusual texture I’ve tried. It’s a cream blush–kinda. It honestly feels silcone-y when I blend it in and reminds me of Benefit’s Porefessional, so I understand how it can have that “blur” effect. It also gives a pretty pink shade that is buildable. My only issue is that the lasting power is not good for me at all, and it pretty much disappears after a few hours, so I would recommend topping it with a powder blush.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye Concealer 3The final product looked incredibly familiar to me when I first opened it, and that’s the L’Oreal Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer in Light. It does bear a strong resemblance to the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector*, which I reviewed here. It has the same rollerball applicator, which is cooling and refreshing under the eyes. You can also tell that although both products are in the shade “light” this one is much more brightener than the all-over concealer. The main difference between this product and the Garnier is that I do feel this one has a higher level of pigmentation, so it does a better job actually brightening the under eye area. I don’t have to worry about dark circles much, but I do feel like this product works to make me look more awake all the same!

1-IMG_1457-001In the above photo I’m wearing the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye Concealer. The concealer is mainly on my chin and around my nose and upper lip. You can tell that especially near my nose/above my mouth it’s not perfectly covering my blemishes, but it does do a pretty good job. The blush also looks great, I just wish it lasted a little longer. There will also be a review of that gorgeous lip colour coming shortly.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer, Blush and CC Eye ConcealerHave you tried any of these Visible Lift products from L’Oreal? There’s quite a few more, including a foundation, and I’m curious on how they’d work on more mature skin, but happy with the job they do for me!
