L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara

L'Oréal Miss Manga Mascara 3L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara* is the mascara I have been hearing about for months and really wanted to try but I had about 5,000 mascaras already so it was going to be awhile until I could buy it, so thanks so much to L’Oreal for surprising me with one so I could finally satisfy my curiosity!

L'Oréal Miss Manga Mascara 2L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara brush is quite unique, even among my aforementioned 5,000 mascaras. It is a natural fiber brush, as opposed to the rubber ones I prefer, and it goes to a tapered tip, kinda like a Christmas tree. It’s also quite bendy, which I found gave me a lot of flexibility (ha!) to apply the mascara all the way to the inner corner of my eye, whereas usually that would result in me getting mascara on the side of my nose or browbone or forehead or chin. Who knows how these things happen?

L'Oréal Miss Manga Mascara CollageIt should be obvious (I hope!) but I applied L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara to my left (in the photo) eye. Also that gorgeous shadow is the result of a couple L’Oreal Infallibles I’ll be sharing soon! As you can tell, the result is not nearly as dramatic as I expected, but more of what I would call a perfect “daily” mascara. It does thicken, lengthen and curl, but it doesn’t do any of those three things to excess.

L'Oréal Miss Manga MascaraOverall, I don’t think I missed a ton by not rushing out to purchase L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara– although the fact that it’s been available in colourful shades like Turquoise is pretty cool. The black mascara itself is really nice, but it just doesn’t give me the dramatic look I expected. However, it does last all day and doesn’t flake or smudge, so combined with the fact that it is so easy to apply with the brush and looks perfect with one coat, L’Oréal Miss Manga Mascara is definitely a good choice to reach for in the morning! I know this will definitely be my choice when I’m in a rush.

Have you tried the L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara? What did you think?
