L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream

There are some brands that are just decadent, luxurious, and classic and to me L’Occitane has always been one of those. It’s also a brand that comes across a little more mature, so I think one of their products would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift, including the L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream*.

L'Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream 3L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream is exactly what it says, a fragranced cream that helps extend the life of your floral perfume (it is intended to go with the La Collection de Grasse Eau de Toilette fragrances) while moisturizing at the same time. Layering scents is always a great way to get them to last longer, but I don’t own any perfumes from L’Occitane so I simply tested this product out on its own. Alone, L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream leaves behind a light floral fragrance that is really fresh and lovely, especially for spring. I find that the scent lasts several hours but is very light and inoffensive.

L'Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream 2The packaging of L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream is absolutely gorgeous, it comes in a very heavy frosted jar that looks extremely classy displayed. The cream itself is quite light and absorbs almost instantly into the skin leaving behind no greasy residue. It is definitely intended for the body and not the face, but it won’t leave you looking oily. I know this is meant for layering with the fragrance but I am definitely tempted to use it on my whole body because the consistency is so lovely, especially for increasingly hot weather.

L'Occitane Fragrance Beautifying CreamOverall, if you are looking for a lovely Mother’s Day gift, or just a treat for yourself, the L’Occitane Fragrance Beautifying Cream is definitely worth considering. If you are already a fan of the matching L’Occitane perfumes this should be next on your list to try out!

Do you ever layer your scents? I rarely seem to have matching products in the same scent, but I would if I could!
