If you follow me on social media–which hopefully you do, otherwise, hello, here’s a link–then you probably saw me promoting the exciting Lise Watier HydraForce #getinthebubble event in Halifax this past weekend. Although I was unable to attend (rural life) Lise Watier was kind enough to send along the HydraForce line for me to test out and share with you! It does take a few weeks to test skincare fully so this is really my first impressions and a chance to introduce you to this great new lineup.
The Lise Watier HydraForce range includes the Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme, Hydra-Protective Creme-Gel, Hydra-Protective Lip Balm as well as a BB Hydra-Protective Tinted Veil that I have not tried out. These products are meant to hydrate and protect skin using a Gaspé algae extract.
First up is the Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Comforting Creme. Both moisturizers in this range come in the same white and blue glass pots. The major difference between the Creme and Gel is the level of moisture provided, and the thicker Creme is intended for normal to dry skin. It has a fresh, aquatic scent that’s not overpowering and a lightweight consistency that absorbs easily into the skin. One of my favourite moisturizers ever is from Lise Watier (see the review here) so I am excited to test this one out further.
For normal to combination skin, there’s the Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Creme-Gel. This moisturizer has a lighter consistency but it’s definitely still a creme-gel, as described, not a gel, so you’re still getting plenty of moisture. I think this is perfect for use during the summer months when my skin is a lot oilier, but still needs hydration.
Of course, while you’re busy moisturizing your face you don’t want to forget about your lips, so there’s the Lise Watier HydraForce Hydra-Protective Lip Balm. This is a very moisturizing balm that still melts easily into the lips and leaves behind a glossy finish. The tube packaging means it can be used at night as well as during the day. In addition to algae, it’s also enriched with Omega 3 and 6. Even only a couple days of use has left my lips softer!
If you are looking for a range of moisturizing skincare that’s not going to overwhelm your skin and clog all your pores, I highly recommend trying out the Lise Watier HydraForce lineup. If you want to check out the level of moisture in your skin, you can actually check out the hydration level of your skin skin’s hydration at a Lise Watier point of sale close to you (check out where on their website).
Have you tried any Lise Watier skincare yet? What’s your favourite product? As gorgeous as their makeup is, I have also really loved the skincare I’ve tested!
