I’ve tried a few products from Lancome and overall I have really been impressed by them, so I was excited when I opened up my mail to the Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart Palette*, a Eye Brightening All-in-One, 5 Shadow & Liner Palette filled with purple and neutral shades absolutely perfect for fall.
Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart Palette contains 5 shades, and each is labelled for a part of the eye. On top is the All Over Base, there’s a light lilac matte for the Lid, a stone grey for the Crease, a shimmery purple and gold Highlighter, and finally a sparkly, dark blue Liner.
All the shades in the Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart Palette are extremely buttery and lovely to apply, and they are all pigmented although not super intense, except the Liner shade. The standout shade for me is the Highlighter, while the Crease shade is unfortunately a bit patchy. The palette comes with a little booklet that gives you the steps to creating a day or night look using the shadows, which is really handy, and I used the shades on their intended parts of the eye for the look below.
In addition to the Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart Palette, I’m also wearing the Lancome Grandiose Mascara*. As you can tell, there’s enough of the neutral shades that even though there’s a touch of purple, it’s still very wearable. I did get a little sparkle fallout while applying but it wasn’t bad. I also think this is a great set of shades for mixing and wearing in different ways, so it would be an easy choice to take traveling, especially if you want to create both daytime and eventing looks.
Overall, the Lancome Color Design Violet Sweetheart Palette is a very helpful and travel-friendly palette I am happy to add to my collection. Also, a small thing that I really love about it? Super easy to open and no worries about breaking nails!
