This post is a bit of a break from my usual beauty on the outside posts for a little beauty on the inside… of my mouth. As in, it’s teeth time featuring Kiss My Face Spearmint Breath Blast Mouthwash* and Carry & Clean Toothpicks*.
The Kiss My Face Spearmint Breath Blast Mouthwash actually came at exactly the right time, because it turned out the mouthwash my boyfriend had been using was causing buildup and his dentist told him to stop. Kiss My Face is an eco-friendly brand and their mouthwash is vegan, has no artifical flavours or fragrances, is not animal tested and includes no parabens or alcohol.
The Kiss My Face Spearmint Breath Blast Mouthwash has a strong mint flavour and definitely leaves your breath feeling minty fresh. I am a not a big fan of mouthwash because I find the flavour too strong, and unfortunately that is still true of this one. There’s also a bit of an aftertaste however I do like that it doesn’t contain alcohol. My mouth-wash using boyfriend was it was okay. I really like the Kiss My Face brand, and I think this is a great natural alternative for mouth wash, I just still don’t enjoy using mouthwash even though it does help keep my breath fresh longer.
The second dental hygiene product I have to share are the Carry & Clean Toothpicks, which are plastic toothpicks that come in a cute little carrying case that is very purse friendly. The toothpicks are spiky on one end and have a traditional point on the other, which is the end I tend to use although you could easily twice as much use by using both ends. The plastic toothpick is sturdier than a wooden one, but wood is more eco-friendly. That said, I think the Carry & Clean Toothpicks are great to keep in your bag for those unexpected months as I know there have been a few times when I wish I had a toothpick or floss.
In terms of “Teeth Time” both Kiss My Face Spearmint Breath Blast Mouthwash and Carry & Clean Toothpicks weren’t smashing successes for me, but they are both decent products and could be worth picking up depending on what you are looking for. The toothpicks are convenient if a bit wasteful, but I am definitely interested in trying more products from the Kiss My Face brand in the future. If you do like mouthwash and are looking for something more natural, I do recommend checking out the Kiss My Face Spearmint Breath Blast Mouthwash.
Have you tried anything from Kiss My Face before? What do you think of the Carry & Clean Toothpicks?
