I’ve had some great experiences with Kiehl’s skincare in the past (in particular my favourite Midnight Recovery Concentrate) so I was really excited to test out the Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate* and see how it fared on my skin. The aim of this serum is to intensely hydrate the skin battling the effects of dehydrating which helps to plump it up and smooth the appearance and texture.
Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate comes in a simple white bottle with a pump. It has a very unique consistency–it looks like a gel but as you massage it into the skin it breaks down and basically turns into water. Honestly, it’s fun to use. The end result is very lightweight on the skin with no residue left behind.
In terms of the results I’ve seen using the Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate over the past month or so, I do feel like my skin looks and feels more hydrated. I like to use this product before a moisturizer, especially in the colder, drier weather to help give my skin an added boost. I don’t find the Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate hydrating enough on its own, but it does work great as a two step process. While this serum hasn’t been a total miracle worker, it has helped my skin stave off winter dryness as the season changes.
The interesting consistency of the Kiehl’s Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate makes it enjoyable to apply, and the end result has definitely improved my skin. If you are looking to add an extra boost of moisture to your skin this winter, definitely consider trying out this hydrating serum!
