I don’t listen to Katy Perry’s music, but after trying out her spring fragrance Killer Queen Oh So Sheer* I am definitely interested in any perfumes she releases, which is why I so excited when Julie from Swatch and Review sent me her bottle of Katy Perry Killer Queen Royal Revolution.
Katy Perry Killer Queen Royal Revolution has the same signature packaging as the previous two Killer Queen scents, except this time the bottle is a gorgeous blue glass with a gunmetal cap. This bottle is bigger than my Oh So Sheer (50 mL vs 30 mL) so it kinda looks like the big sister on my dresser. They do have to rest on their sides so they take up more space than average, but I don’t really mind with the bottles I have. Not only is the packaging a hit, but the fragrance inside is great for summer as well.
Katy Perry Killer Queen Royal Revolution is quite a sweet berry fragrance for me, which includes a mix of pomegranate and pink freesia. Over the time the scent develops more musk to it, due to the sandalwood and musk notes. There’s also vanilla orchid which contributes to the sweetness of the scent I think. Personally, I think the combination of sweet and musky is perfect for a scent that transitions into fall. Wear time is also very good, as it had definitely faded but I was still able to still Katy Perry Killer Queen Royal Revolution on my skin at the end of the day.
Have you tried any Katy Perry scents yet? I’ve tried samples of the original Killer Queen but I may have to grab a bottle so I can complete my trio!
