I seem to do about one skincare review a month because I’m really picky about what products I accept and I also like to give things a test for at least a few weeks before telling you how wonderful they are. I do have two skincare posts in the near future though, starting with the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream.
I had no idea a tub of the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream was showing up at my door, but if somebody had asked me about it, this definitely qualifies as one of those products I would have loved to review. I have heard such great things about this product, and when I purchased a goat milk cream in the past I found it really soothing and lovely on the skin.
The Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream is a daily moisturizer that provides deep hydration meant to soothe and moisturize skin. It comes in a very unique tub that you actually press down on and some product comes out, preventing exposure from air or fingers so it’s very hygienic. It has a subtle fragrance but nothing that bothers me and a slightly runny consistency.
I find that the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream absorbs pretty quickly into my skin and feels lightweight but hydrating. I really do find the goat milk soothing and there’s also aloe as an ingredient, so it feels really nice on any dry, sensitive areas. After using this my skin is softer and smoother while any dry patches were much better.
For my first experience with the brand, I really have fallen in love with the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream. It’s so soothing and lovely on the skin and I think it will be especially great during the colder weather (if I have any left by then…) If you are looking for a lightweight but moisturizing cream I definitely recommend trying this out.
Have you tried any products from Kate Somerville before? For the opposite end of things, I’m also really interested in the ExfoliKate Intense Exfoliator.
